UIC Technologies Pte Ltd ("UICTech"), the Information Technology (IT) arm of the Group has five main IT business activities - IT Distribution, IT Services, IT Training, IT Human Resource Management System and IT Applications Development.

On 20th Oct 2000, UIC Technologies agreed to merge with two Haw Par Corporation Limited's subsidiaries: Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd and Newtech Business Systems Pte Ltd. With the merger, UIC Technologies is now 60% owned by United Industrial Corporation Limited and 40% by Haw Par Corporation Limited.
